The Early identification of the integrity requirement in EPC projects is crucial to avoid modifications and ensure smooth commissioning and operation.

The Engineering consultants and EPC contractors participating in the execution of the new projects shall be responsible to implement the integrity requirements as follows:

 

• Operation, Maintenance and Corrosion & Inspection philosophies documents that specify the requirements in these areas are issued and approved at early stages of concept and ensure the new facilities are designed to satisfy these requirements. 

 

• Identify assets on the key project drawings (PFD, P&ID, Single line diagram, Logic diagram) and assign asset coding number

 

• Assess the asset HSE & Business criticality, assign asset criticality ranking to each asset and identify the HSE & Business Critical Equipment & System (HSE & B CES)
