Biography: Dr. Sorour was awarded various scientific awards and grants. In 1984 he received the University of Alexandria Research Award in 1986.

he was nationwide recognized by receiving the National Engineering Research Award.

He was   recognized as one of the distinguished scientist in the" National Encyclopedia of Egyptian Characters" in 1989.

Dr. Srour was a visiting Professor in the University of Wisconsin - Madison, U.S.A  a visiting Professor to the University of London
